Delete your data
Last updated
You can delete your Postrush data at any time. Deleting your account erases everything we hold about you. If you only want to stop Postrush from using a social account, disconnect it instead.
Delete your account
- Sign in and open Settings.
- In Danger zone, choose Delete account.
- Enter your password and type DELETE ACCOUNT to confirm.
This deletes, right away and permanently: your account and sessions, the workspaces you own, and their posts, drafts, schedules, history, uploaded media, notification settings, invites, and connected social accounts with their access tokens.
- If other people are members of a workspace you own, first transfer ownership to one of them or remove them. Postrush won't delete a workspace other people still use.
- Content you added to someone else's workspace stays in that workspace, without your name.
- Forgot your password? Reset it from the sign-in page first, or email us.
- Deleted data leaves our database backups within 30 days. If an address ever bounced or marked our email as spam, we keep that address on a do-not-email list.
Posts that were already published stay on X, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok. Delete them there if you want them gone. Deleting your account also doesn't remove Postrush from your social accounts' settings, so remove it at the platform too (below).
Disconnect a social account
- Open Channels in Postrush.
- Open the account's menu (⋯) and choose Disconnect, then confirm.
We delete the account's access tokens at once. For X, we also ask X to revoke them. Scheduled posts for that account are held, not published, until you reconnect. The account's name and picture and its post history stay in your workspace until you delete your account.
Remove Postrush at the platform
You can withdraw Postrush's access from the platform itself at any time:
- X: Settings and privacy → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps → Postrush → Revoke app permissions.
- Facebook: Settings and privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites) → Postrush → Remove.
- Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → Postrush → Remove.
After that, Postrush can no longer publish to that account, and it will ask you to reconnect the channel the next time it needs access.
Requests from Facebook and Instagram
When you remove Postrush in Facebook or Instagram, Meta tells us automatically:
- Removing the app: we delete the access tokens for that Facebook or Instagram account and mark the channel as needing reconnection.
- Asking for your data to be deleted: we also erase the profile data we received from Meta (name, username, profile picture and your Meta user id). Meta shows you a link and a confirmation code, which you can use to check the status of the request.
Posts and their history in your workspace are kept, because they are your content, not data we received from Meta. To erase them, delete your account.
Ask us by email
Email support@postrush.app from the address on your account and tell us what you want deleted. We will confirm it is you, carry out the request and reply within one month.
